My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lab/Plott hound mix, female, ~7 years, 60 lbs. Alea (Maggie Mae to her foster family) was a stray found in Brooklyn. She knows basic commands and loves to be near people, especially men - she LOVES men! She is gentle with children, but sometimes when excited she will accidentally knock them over; for this reason, we think she'd be best with kids older than 6. No cats (she likes to chase them) and she'd prefer a home without other dogs. Alea would love a daily run or walk. She is a dog who likes having a job, and currently she has assigned herself the duties of guarding the birdfeeder from the birds and following her foster family around. She would love a fenced yard to romp in and explore. With a little love and attention, Alea is a great family pet. Her adoption fee is partially sponsored by Pet Connection.
