Samie's Story...
Samie is one puppy from a litter of six that MTGSR pulled from Florence Animal Shelter in Florence, Alabama. These puppies are Shepherd mixes and their estimated date of birth was 8/1/13.
SAMIE is a total sweetheart! She is the smallest of the litter, but good things come in little packages. This girl is a total love bug. She loves to run and play but is just as content to be held and loved. She is crate-trained and good with children, other dogs and cats.
All dogs adopted from Middle Tennessee German Shepherd Rescue are spayed/neutered, current on all vaccinations and microchipped. For more information, please email us at adoption.mtgsr@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Samie, a Nashville German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Nashville, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
