Zeph's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and not good with cats.

Zeph's Story...
Zeph is a cute little guy, 2-3 years old and about 8 lbs. He was pulled recently from a small rural shelter where he was in immediate danger of euthanasia and is in process of learning the rules in his foster home.

Zeph is a cuddler - if you let him he will sleep in your bed under the covers. He is fine with kids, but we feel he will be happiest in a single dog home or maybe with a female dog companion. ( No cats).

Zeph's biggest regret is that he gets car sick even on short rides, so he would prefer not to travel in the car unless absolutely necessary.

Zeph is neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped - all ready to go to a new home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zeph, a Castro Valley Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua for sale in Castro Valley, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Castro Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Castro Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Castro Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Castro Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
