Monty's Story...
I’m Monty and I’m a goofy little guy. I was found in a ditch when I was just 5 weeks old. I was born in June of 2007. No one claimed me, so I was taken in by the BCFFA and placed in a foster home so I could grow a bit. I am around 5 months old. I appear to be some sort of Collie/ Doberman mix, so I will be a big boy when I am grown. Look at those huge Collie ears! I am a typical puppy, I like to get myself into trouble. I am the right age to start puppy obedience classes. I would need to be crated at first, so I can learn housebreaking and to keep me from chewing on things. I am great with other dogs, cats and children. I love squeaky toys. My adoption fee is 175. Please email teddirescue@yahoo.com for an application

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Monty, a Manassas Collie/Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/Doberman Pinscher for sale in Manassas, or seeking a Collie/Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Manassas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manassas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manassas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Collie/Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manassas paves the way for another one to be saved.
