Buster's Story...
I am a gorgeous youngster by the name of Buster, I came here with my brothers and sisters
in hopes of finding a new loving homes. We are not biological siblings, but we all lived
in the same house. There were just too many of us for one person to care for, so here we
are looking for a new family and some extra TLC. I think it is time for me to spread my
wings and find a place of my very own. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind sharing my home
with other dogs or cats. I even get along with very respectful children. I am doing pretty
well with my housebreaking but could use just a bit more work in that department. I am
already crate trained though. So take me home and let me be your little angel (or maybe
you can be mine). 9 months old- 9lbs. My adoption fee is $200 and includes; neuter
rebate, 1 month pet health insurance, free vet exam (SE Portland/Milwaukie area), 5 week
training class, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buster, a Portland Havanese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Havanese for sale in Portland, or seeking a Havanese dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Havanese breeders who help with Havanese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
