Sonny's Story...
Sonny came to the rescue after his elderly owner had to go in to assisted living. He is a young Chihuahua mix and about 12 pounds. Sonny is currently living in foster care with another small dog and several cats. He is housebroken. He likes his crate and is used to being crated when no one is home. Sonny "pretends" to be shy when he first meets people, but once he's comfortable he's your best friend! He's quite the kisser and enjoys with people snuggling on the couch. Sonny loves to go for walks and rides nicely in the car. He's looking for a great home and if you'd like to give that to him, please go to our website and fill out an application to set up a meet - http://alltheyneedislove.org/adoption-application/.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sonny, a Medford Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Medford, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Medford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Medford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Medford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Medford paves the way for another one to be saved.
