Here's what the humans have to say about me:
4/10/08 Emily has found her forever home in Maine. Hooray for her!
4/1/08 Poor Emily- just when she thought she was home it turns out she is being a little dominant over several small dogs that were in her home. Not aggresive but the small dogs don't like her standing over them. Do you think your home would be the forever home for Emily? We need an immediate foster home for her, and of course a forever home so she doesn't have to be bounced around again!
3/23/08 The Easter Bunny brought Emily to her new home! Hooray for this sweet girl!
3/15/08 Emily has arrived in New England and is a sweetheart - about 40 lbs and a quiet, loving girl. Would you like to come and meet her? Email us today for an application!
3/3/08 Emily will be coming north soon and needs a foster home or forever home to take her in. Check out her new pics - she is such a beautiful shepherd who is learning house-training and is dying to run and play.
2/8/08 Emily has just started heartworm treatment. She will be ready to travel in a few weeks in case you might be interested in adopting her.
12/27/07: This is Emily- what a beauty! You would not believe by looking at her how miserable she was before coming to the shelter. Poor Emily was living in an outside pen that was only about 2 feet wide- she could barely turn around. Thankfully, her owner agreed to surrender her to the shelter. As you can imagine, Emily is a bit timid, but is already learning to trust. She is about a year old if we had to guess. Please show her what life is supposed to be about!
This dog is at our partner shelter in Arkansas or in foster care in Arkansas unless otherwise marked as "in Maine" or "In New England".
