Air Twiga Animal Rescue

Air Twiga Animal Rescue helps dogs from high kill shelters who are on the brink of euthanization, who are in immediate need of specialised medical care or surgery, who have been abused and starved, who have been abandoned, who have been lost in natural disasters such as hurricanes. Working with Pilots N Paws we were one of the first responders to Hurricane Harvey flying 100 dogs by jet and helicopter to safe haven and taking in many of the dogs ourselves, some of which were heart worm positive and most of which were forgotten Pit Bulls and small near drowned Yorkies, Jack Russells and small pups. Our dogs are evaluated and trained by reknown behaviourist, Dr. Karlene Bonnes (PhD Cornell), founder of Animal Behaviour Specialists.
