Rescue FAQs

Pawsitivity rescues dogs, and when appropriate, trains them to help children with autism, but many times the dogs we rescue are great pets (but wouldn't work well with a kiddo with autism). But they would be a great pet! We do ask that you sign a contract not to use the dog as a therapy dog or service dog.

Additional adoption info

Calls and texts are generally returned within 24 hours. Our main criteria in placing a dog is how many hours the dog will be left alone (the fewer hours the dog would be left alone, the more likely you are to get the dog!) :-)
