Big Sky Ranch/CATNIP Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal welfare organization devoted to providing valuable programs as alternatives to euthanasia, to lower the number of animals entering shelters and the ones being killed there. Our mission is "changing the ways we think and feel about living with and caring for animals". Our vision is to create a no-kill, no-shelter community, by increasing community consciousness for the well-being of people, animals, and the planet.
We serve all of Louisiana and respond to disasters in nearby states.
Adoption steps

- Take the Pet HomeEnjoy your new furry family member! If for any reason the adoption does not work out, animals adopted from Big Sky must be returned to us.
Additional adoption info
Adoption fees vary by pet. Adoption fees for breed-specific pets (example: Siamese cat, Border Collie dog) will be more. Adoption fees include spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, parasite prevention and a microchip.
