Stray Hearts is a foster-based cat and dog rescue based in Martin County, KY.
Our goal is to save and rehome unwanted cats and dogs in our county and surrounding counties and place them in loving homes.
Since we are in a rural area, we offer transports to larger cities and areas in KY and surrounding states.

We are located in Martin County in Eastern KY.
We transport to Kentucky, West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey.
We adopt in and out of state and offer transport to different cities and areas.

Adoption steps
- Submit ApplicationGo to https://forms.gle/suhbpui9RXiVmvoJ9 and fill out the application.
- InterviewWe will contact you with any questions we might have or to request more information.
- Approve ApplicationIf your vet reference and / or your references check out, and you seem to be a responsible pet owner, we will approve your application.
- Sign Adoption ContractThe adopter will care for the vet needs of the pet and will return the pet to us if the adoption doesn't work out.
No declawing of cats. - Pay FeeOur fees are for vetting and transport.
Our pets are fully vetted unless too young to be s/n.
Fees cover vetting and transport fee. - Take the Pet HomeWe arrange transport with adopter to get the pet to his new family.
