The Bloomfield Township Michigan Animal Shelter is located in Bloomfield Township on Telegraph just south of Long Lake Rd. We accept animals from our residents however we adopt our animals out to any animal loving home.

There usually is no fee to adopt our animals. The cats and dogs are usually fixed and up on their shots. In the occurrence that an animal is not fixed we require a refundable $25 deposit when proof of neutered is completed.
We do our best to match an animal's temperament and personality for best placements.

About Bloomfield Township Michigan Animal Shelter

Our shelter is part of the Bloomfield Township offices and supported with the property taxes of our residents and appreciated donations.

We are a small shelter, We do get in more cats than dogs.
Currently we have eight cats looking for a loving home and two dogs.

So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
