Additional adoption info
For all cats and dogs, we do require an interview and vet references.
We only adopt cats out to indoor only homes that have no intention to declaw.
Depending on the needs of the dog we may or may not require a fenced yard prior to placement.
We adopt out based on the needs of the pet in question, not on a first come first serve basis.
Our standard adoption fees are: $50 kittens, $30 cats, dogs adoption fees vary based on size and age ranging from $250 to $125 and $25 for rabbits.
We do require an adoption contract, which states that any animal we adopt out must be returned to us (as opposed to a kill shelter) or rehomed through us and that adopters will adhere to standard health and safety policies.
Adopted animals may be returned for any reason within 5 days of adoption for 100% return of adoption fee.
Our cats and dogs are spayed and neutered prior to adoption (though adopters may foster to adopter animals prior to completed vetting), as well as given appropriate core vaccines. Dogs are heartworm tested and cats are FIV/Felv tested. Additional upcoming vetting, such as boosters, will always be disclosed to potential adopters.

We are a 100% foster and volunteer rescue based out of Ocala, Florida!
We are Working, Advocating, Giving, and Saving the lives of animals in need! It's what gives us the W.A.G.S. in our tails.
We are currently foster based and only able to take additional animals when we have money in the medical fund and foster room available.
All of our cats and dogs are vetted prior to adoption, so the adoption fee is considerably less than the total amount of money put into each animal. As a result we are always in need of donations of funds and supplies.
Every donation is GREATLY appreciated!

Support adoption and rescue. Why go to a dog breeder, cat breeder or pet store to buy a dog or buy a cat when you can adopt?
Why should you adopt?
Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life.
What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder?
When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
