About Fur Havens Sake Cat Rescue
Fur Havens Sake Cat Rescue is located in a rural location outside the city limits of Eufaula, Al.
We are the only "cat rescue" in the city/county.
We are a 501(c)(3), registered with the city, county and state. Plans are to apply for grants to build a bigger rescue.
The rescue is strictly run on donations, mostly food and litter. Monetary donations toward vet bills, flea treatment or emergencies are low. I am always looking for volunteers to help with the rescue if I need to go out of town.
I love what I have put into the rescue so far and I have BIG dreams to make it even bigger and making a difference one kitty at a time. I reflect back on the book "the little engine that could", this little country rescue is that engine and it is going to change many cat lives.

When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
