Whisker Stop's Adoption Process

1. Submit Application

Our cats are available at the Rolla, South St. Louis County and South St. Louis City Petsmart store, where they meet the pet

2. Interview

This includes reference check, as well as veterinary reference check

3. Approve Application

This involves contacting the potential pet parent, explaining either approval, or denial

4. Sign Adoption Contract

The final step if approved is to meet, sign the contract, pay the fee, and take the animal home

Our adoption process includes both reference, as well as veterinary checks to ensure a forever home for our foster pets.

About Whisker Stop

Whisker Stop is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping local animals in need. We serve the Phelps County and surrounding areas, of Missouri. Our mission is to decrease the population and lessen the suffering of unwanted and feral animals, through spay/neuter programs and other no-kill alternatives.
