Shelter FAQs

We are a very small county shelter, our dogs are fully vaccinated, de-wormed, altered, and microchipped. We strive to match the dog's personality and needs to their new adopting families. Please fill out an adoption application and feel free to call to be sure the application was received. (615) 680-4022.

Adoption steps

  1. Visit the Facility and Find a Pet
    1. Call shelter, check adoptapet, or visit our website to check on available dogs.
  2. Interview
    1. Before signing adoption application we have a short 20-30 minute interview, to determine if both are compatible.
  3. Approve Application
    1. Once we determine compatibility, we'll spend about 10 minutes going over paperwork.
  4. Pay Fee
    1. Our adoption fee is $150.00. CASH OR CHECK!
  5. Sign Adoption Contract
  6. Take the Pet Home
