Silver Comet Animal Welfare Alliance is a regional resource providing support for underserved animals in west Georgia. Each animal showcased will be available for adoption or rescue (after stray hold if applicable) at the county facility where it is legally required to be housed. Each facility has independent operating hours, adoption processes and adoption fees. Some animals may be in foster homes. Visits at the foster home or Crabapple Petco can be scheduled at your convenience. SCAWA volunteers are happy to facilitate placement whenever possible on a case-by-case basis if potential adopters are unable to visit west Georgia shelters during operating hours. THANK YOU for considering our available animals!

About Silver Comet Animal Welfare Alliance

Silver Comet Animal Welfare Alliance was established in 2018 to provide support and structure for animal welfare initiatives in Georgia. We are all-volunteer and 100% of donations are used to help animals in need. Our team will make every effort to help facilitate adoptions including transport, veterinary care, training, supplies, ongoing pet parent support and rehoming assistance if needed. We believe that by joining our unique talents for the greater good, Georgia will be able to join the movement and achieve No Kill by 2025. We are resolved to promote, participate and contribute to this cause. Compassion, cooperation, commUNITY!
