Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- Approve Application
- Interview
- Meet the Pet
- Usually the meet is done at the potential adopter's home. With meeting the pet there is the possibly of a trial period with the pet.
- Home Check
- Usually done at the time of the meet
- Home Check
- Pay Fee
- If trial is successful, then adopter will pay the adoption fee then sign the adoption contract to finalize the adoption.
Additional adoption info
Once we get to the interview & all looks good then we normally arrange a meet at the potential adopter's home & do the home check at the same time. Then if all goes well we offer a 2 week trial. If the trial goes well & they want to finalize the adoption then the adoption fee is paid & the adoption contract is signed.
