Streethearts Animal Rescue is 501c3 non-profit organization. We strive to save & aid animals from situations of abandonment, neglect, abuse & injury. We focus on street intercession, medical help, rescue placement, fostering & finding forever homes.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
  2. Approve Application
  3. Interview
  4. Meet the Pet
    1. Usually the meet is done at the potential adopter's home. With meeting the pet there is the possibly of a trial period with the pet.
  5. Home Check
    1. Usually done at the time of the meet
  6. Home Check
  7. Pay Fee
    1. If trial is successful, then adopter will pay the adoption fee then sign the adoption contract to finalize the adoption.

Additional adoption info

Once we get to the interview & all looks good then we normally arrange a meet at the potential adopter's home & do the home check at the same time. Then if all goes well we offer a 2 week trial. If the trial goes well & they want to finalize the adoption then the adoption fee is paid & the adoption contract is signed.
