Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- Starts with adoption application through our website, home visits are required. No out of State adoptions.
- Approve Application
- Vet checks and landlord confirmation is required.
- Meet the Pet
- Private meet and greets are set up with all dogs and all family members of the applicant. A 2nd with any owned dogs.
- Home Check
- Virtual Home Visits may be require. They used to be sure the home is safe for the dog.
Additional adoption info
We do offer a "foster to adopt" program which allows the dog to live in your home on a trial basis to be sure we are matching the right dog with the right family. *Applications and Foster to Adopt programs do NOT guarantee or require commitment to adopt a dog.
