Saving Dobermankind Animal Rescue's Adoption Process

1. Submit Application

Adoption application is required to set up meet and greet.

2. Home Check

Home check is required for adoption approval.

3. Sign Adoption Contract

Adoption Contract signed on pick of new family member along with adoption fee paid.

All animals adopted from us are fully vetted including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test and deworming. We do require a completed adoption application to be submitted before discussing details of a specific Doberman.

We DO NOT have a central location, out foster homes are located throughout our geographic region including CO, WY, NM and TX.

We strive to PROTECT the privacy of out fosters. ALL Doberman meet and greets are conducted in a neutral meeting location made by appointment only.

About Saving Dobermankind Animal Rescue

Saving Dobermankind Animal Rescue (SDAR) is a volunteer rescue in Fountain Colorado.


SDAR rescue-pulls Doberman Pinschers from high kill shelters in Colorado and surrounding states.


SDAR rescues Dobermans, Doberman mixes, and other breeds of dogs on a case by case basis.


SDAR is a registered rescue in the State of Colorado under PACFA.


SDAR was founded in 2015.
