Rescue FAQs

We are a foster base rescue located in the Quad Cities area. We are in the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary Network and take pride in helping with the No-Kill Mission by 2025. We are always looking for new fosters so we can save even more animals.
We serve mostly the Quad Cities Ia and IL. However we are network partners with Best Friends Animal Sanctuary so we will travel a dog as need as well if it means them finding the perfect home. However their could be added travel fees to cover fuel and travel costs. If travel fees are asked for we keep them to the lowest costs possible.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
  2. Interview
    1. We always want the person that is adopting from us to feel a connection with the dog so we interview them to make sure it is a perfect fit.
  3. Approve Application
    1. we contact references, we check vet records, and call and interview you too.
  4. Meet the Pet
    1. this step is where if you have a pet the animals meet. If this is going to be your first pet then you just meet your possible new companion
  5. Home Check
    1. We just want to see where your new four legged family member is going to be living and make sure it is safe for both of you.
  6. Sign Adoption Contract
    1. Sign the adoption contract, pay adoption fee, and take pet home. these three things are done all at the same time.
