Rescue FAQs

We are a small 501c3 non-profit rescue for cats including sick & disabled. Our goal is to find a safe place for them to live out their lives with an abundance of Love and Affection. We plan to reduce the number of unwanted cats through spay/neuter programs. Animal welfare is our top priority including quality veterinary care for all cats rescued. Future goals will be to offer training programs and community education.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
To ensure the potential owner is ready to home a cat and is in good standing with a veterinarian.
  2. Meet the Pet
A visit for new owner and cat to meet and see how they get along, including family members.
  3. Approve Application
This is done after we check references as well as vaccine history and medical care on any current pets in the home.
  4. Home Check
We require home visits after the application is approved. This ensures the cat has everything needed to adapt in the new environment
  5. Sign Adoption Contract
This is usually done at the home visit upon final approval. Transferring ownership of the cat.
  6. Pay Fee
The adoption fee is paid then the contract is signed to transfer ownership.
  7. Take the Pet Home
If home inspection is approved the cat is usually delivered to the new home that same day.
