Santé D'Or Foundation was formed in 2003. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit, no-kill animal rescue organization, specializing in natural healing and care.
The mission of Santé D’Or Foundation is to rescue and provide shelter and holistically-based medical care to animals, while working to secure them permanent homes. We act as an educational resource in our community through our rescue and adoption services, community outreach, and TNR efforts. Our organization is run by our Director of Animal Services and team, and staffed by volunteers.

We are located in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles, California, and we serve Southern California, primarily the Los Feliz, Hollywood, Atwater and Silver Lake neighborhoods.
Adoption steps
- Submit ApplicationOnce your application is submitted, a team member will reach out w/ next steps like visiting the rescue or coordinating a visit with fosters
- Visit the Facility and Find a PetWe specialize in matchmaking! Please wait for our email reply, so we can set you up with an hour-long adoption appointment at the rescue!
- Home CheckOnce you've selected a pet(s), we'll conduct a virtual home check to cover basics and home safety.
- Sign Adoption ContractOur tax-deductible adoption fee is due at time of signing the contract, at which point you can bring your new love home!
- Take the Pet HomeWe will support you at every point through the process! Please continue to reach out to us post-adoption with any questions you might have.

Dogs: $300
