Rescue FAQs
CCL Rehoming of Fargo started as an offshoot of local spay/neuter clinic when they disbanded their foster program. We've been fostering/adopting for over 5 years. We are a small organization with non-profit status since August 2015. Donations are always welcome. Thanks!

Adoption steps

- This is a conversation with potential adoptee to determine elegiblity to adopt. Also to fit pet with need of adoptee and family
- Submit Application
- Either online or mail
- Home Check
- Home check to make sure our fosters are going to a safe place.
- Approve Application
- Check references and if people live in an apt. that the place allows pets and requirements for cats.
- Sign Adoption Contract
- Pay Fee
- Adoption donation may vary depending upon age of cat and if cat is special needs.

CCL Rehoming of Fargo is a small non-profit home foster based rescue. Cats and kittens come to us through word of mouth, drop-offs at pet stores, abandoned cat, kittens and pregnant mom, such as when people move out of apt where cats not allowed, the local trailer parks, vet clinic, family's whose parents need to be moved into assisted living or nursing home, and a variety of other ways cats and kittens become homeless.
