Happiness Is No Kill Rescue and Shelter's Adoption Process

1. Submit Application

A five page application must be filled out and sent back first

2. Interview

And interview is done with the potential adopters

3. Home Check

If the application is approved and the interview goes well we will then set up a home check.

4. Meet the Pet

After the application, interview, home check, Then a meet and greet is done. If all goes well we arrange a second meet and greet

We do not adopt out backyard dogs. All of our dogs aren’t part of the family.

We are a rescue dedicated to saving as many lives as possible we are not re-selected and all of our dogs are give them basic obedience training and beautiful leash manners before being adopted. We feel this helps to ensure a forever ..
