Gold Star Rescue

We are a group of extremely dedicated rescue animal advocates who have been rescuing since 2000. We have extensive experience in perfect matchmaking with families all over the United States. We have worked with other rescues placing pets in Washington, Oregon, Canada, Wisconsin, New York, & North Carolina. We decided this year to form our own rescue and uphold the high standard of proper vetting and spay/neuter surgeries with our adoption process. We greatly enjoy observing the life our once discarded rescues now enjoy. The dog's picture on our website was found wandering the streets of Houston, emaciated, intact, mats of fur, scared, and had been abused. He was properly vetted, groomed, had the love, patience of an incredible foster family, & the experience of proper socialization at doggy daycare. This dog was placed with a perfect match. Scruffy now lives with a psychotherapist who takes him to work every day. Scruffy's new dad is a family therapist. Scruffy helps many of his clients break the ice and feel at ease with their counseling sessions. We live for this type of life transformation for the rescued pet and for the joy they bring to individuals' lives. Rescuing is our life's greatest passion.
