Rescue FAQs

The Clark County SPCA formed in November of 2016 to fill the gap in the needed services available to the citizens of Clark County, Ohio. The county was without a trained Humane Agent to investigate animal abuse and neglect. Educational services were no longer being provided in school systems or area businesses for dog safety or responsible dog ownership. We formed this organization to fill these gaps in service to our public and to help with placement of some of the homeless animals within our community as well as to contribute to reducing the number of unwanted pets by sterilization and adoption. We are a 501(c)3, non-profit organization.
