Bainbridge Decatur County Humane Society

We are proud to announce the successful collaboration between the Bainbridge Decatur County Humane Society and City of Bainbridge. After several years of planning and fundraising, this state-of-the-art facility opened its doors in 2024. The move from the previous shelter on Cox Avenue to this new location on Zorn Road became a reality thanks to many, including a generous land donation, substantial funding from Decatur County and the City of Bainbridge, the Fogg Foundation and multiple private donors.
The new center represents a significant milestone in our community’s commitment to animal welfare. It features a modern, welcoming space for adoptable pets, Humane Society volunteers, a versatile multi-purpose room, and dedicated animal services staff.
