Rescue FAQs

Great Pyrenees Advocates of Texas (GPAT) is a 501 c3 non-profit rescue organization based in Houston, Texas and serves the entire state of Texas. Our group was organized to respond to the tremendous numbers of at-risk Great Pyrenees and Great Pyrenees mixes that have been abandoned in shelters, dumped on the streets or surrendered by their owners. We are also involved in community outreach and education about the Great Pyrenees as a long term solution to minimize the huge homeless population of this regal breed of dogs in need.
Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Austin and all surrounding areas. We serve the entire state of Texas.
