Our Mission is to protect, care and advocate for all animals. We are dedicated to enforcing animal cruelty laws; providing a safe haven for homeless, abused and abandoned animals while they await adoption; reducing over-population through spay/neutering; and cultivating their humane treatment through education and advocacy services as a valuable community resource.

- Interview
- You'll meet with a counselor to determine a good match for you.
- Meet the Pet
- You'll meet pets you're interested in provided it's an appropriate match.
- Sign Adoption Contract
- We'll go over any behavior or medical notes so that you have a clear understanding of your pet's needs. You'll sign the notes and contract.
- Pay Fee
- You'll pay the adoption fee based on the pet's age and species: https://monmouthcountyspca.org/adoption/
- Take the Pet Home
- You're all set! We're here for you if you have any questions post-adoption!

We only do adoptions in person (please bring all family members).
We will ask you to fill out our Adoption Survey at the shelter and talk to an Adoption Counselor, who will help you find your perfect match.
