Rescue FAQs

On October 19th, 2014, we rescued an anxious and timid dog named Candace. We adopted her from an online rescue site, so we never got the chance to meet her beforehand. Leading up to adoption day, in my mind, she was the classic happy go lucky dog that would play fetch with me all day long. Reality ended up being very different from the way I had imagined. Her fearful nature inspired me to learn as much as I could about natural dog behavior. Trust, patience, conquering fears and paying attention to my own energy are the most important lessons I've learned from her. Seeing Candace's progress over the years has inspired me to rehabilitate other fearful and unbalanced dogs and help them find FURever homes.

All dogs that go through our dog psychology behavior rehabilitation program have a psychology and behavior analysis report written. Potential adopters are encouraged to read and fully understand the report. During the interview we discuss any questions about training and behavior for that particular dog.
