Shelter FAQs
LIFE House for Animals is a no-kill canine and feline adoption facility with managed intake. Our mission is to nurture, celebrate, and reinforce the human-animal bond with successful animal adoptions, preventing overpopulation of pets and providing community education and awareness of animal issues. Our mission is accomplished by making permanent placements based on the individual needs of the animals and adopters.

Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- View our guests available for adoption on-line or submit your application for the type of pet you are seeking.
- Approve Application
- We will review your application upon receipt. If we have any questions or concerns, we will contact you for clarity.
- Visit the Facility and Find a Pet
- A LIFE House for Animals volunteer will contact you to schedule an appointment to come to LIFE House and visit with our guest.
