Rescue FAQs

Dalis to the Rescue is a non-profit advocating for spaying and neutering our pets and educating ourselves BEFORE adopting.

Our goal is to educate the younger generations about benefits of spaying and neutering and why we should research the animal we want before making the commitment.

Dalis goes to school events and had even written a book to get these messages out.

Additional adoption info

Our dogs are foster based, so they are not at the rescue like our cats are. When we approve an application for a dog, Dalis will email them to figure out a time and date for them to come in to meet the dog at the rescue's location. If Dalis and the adoptee agree that the adoption is the right fit, they then pay the fee and fill out the adoption form.

As for the cats, anyone with a submitted application may come in and look at our cats Tuesdays - Fridays 2pm - 5pm. We have so many cats it is difficult to keep up with them and post online, so coming in and looking is the best way. When their app is approved, they may pay the fee and fill out the adoption form.
