Rescue FAQs

Peak Lab Rescue is the largest foster-based dog rescue in North Carolina. We do not have a facility, all of our dogs live in homes where they can learn the skills to be successful family members. Our Mission is to end dog homelessness in North Carolina. We save Lab Mixes and other dogs from abuse, neglect, abandonment, and high-kill shelters.
Apex, Cary, Holly Springs, Morrisville, Fuquay-Varina, Willow Springs, Raleigh, Knightdale, Zebulon, Wendell, Durham, Chapel Hill and all of Wake and Durham counties We place dogs all over the country but you must come to Apex, NC to meet the foster and pick up the dog. We do not ship dogs.

Additional adoption info

You will receive the dog's Vet records via email 7-10 days after adoption. You will receive the dog's microchip info and rabies tag (if appropriate) via USPS about 2 weeks after adoption.
