A completed application is required to meet the animal(s) you are interested in and to begin the adoption process. The application must include a veterinarian reference showing a history of good pet ownership and you must live within 100 miles of Independence, MO. At times, multiple applications will be a part of the decision making process when selecting the perfect home. An email confirming our receipt of your application will be sent to you. It will take 5 days for us to review your application and contact your references. If you do not hear from us within 5 days, we are pursuing other applications. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
