Shelter FAQs
We are a municipal open admission animal shelter. We try to keep our euthanization rate below 10% and provide resources to the community to improve pet welfare. At the present time we have no online presence. Our Facebook page kept getting hacked and we are in the process of rebuilding it.

Adoption steps
- Visit the Facility and Find a PetVisitors to the shelter are welcome to walk through our facility to view the animals and interact with them.
- Meet the PetAfter meeting the desired adoptable pet, they are welcome to bring their other animals to meet and greet.
- Sign Adoption ContractAdopted pets must be taken to our vet for spay/neuter surgery. We have no vet on staff.

Additional adoption info
We encourage adopters to bring their children and other pets to meet and greet, and interact to be sure this animal is a good fit for their home. We do not sterilize onsite. Instead, pet adopters sign a sterilization contract and must take the animal to the veterinarian who services the shelter for spay/neuter surgery. If they do not follow this contract we will reclaim the animal.
