Additional adoption info

We pull our dogs off of the euthanasia list at the Houston city shelter. We get them settled into foster homes in Houston where we then get our dogs fully vetted and understand their personalities so we can find them the best forever homes. After adequate time to decompress and understand their personalities, we post them for adoption and arrange transport Northeast. Before or after they have been transported, we open adoption applications to various transport cities.

When applications are open for a dog, the first step is to fill out our adoption application, then schedule a call with one of our directors. If it's a good fit, we can either arrange a meet and greet (depending where the dog is and where the matched adopter is) or finalize adoption. Adoption agreements and adoption fees must be signed and paid before we physically transfer a dog into a potential adopter's care.
