As an animal control agency, we work to ensure public safety while providing care and protection to stray, and lost dogs in our area. We strive to reunite lost pets with their families and work with rescues and the community to find adoptive homes for animals in need. We promote responsible pet ownership and advocate for the humane treatment of all animals, fostering a safer and more compassionate community.
The shelter serves the citizens of Jenkins County, which includes the incorporated cities and towns of Millen, Perkins, North Ogeechee, South Ogeechee, Emmalane, Scarboro and Lawton.

After you calla and make an adoption appointment, you can meet our adoptable dogs. Once you decide which one you want to adopt you just have to fill out a quick and easy adoption contract and then you are ready to take your new pet home that day.
