Elgin Alley Cats was founded in 2012 been a 501(c)(3) organization since 2015. The group is entirely volunteer-run and provides vaccination and support to community feral, stray, and homeless cats. We also provide education to the community about the importance of neutering/spaying.

We start with an online application and telephone interview, followed by a meet-and-greet and a home visit at which the adoption contract may be signed.
