Shelter FAQs

We are a 24 hour intake animal control facility, that not only takes in animals from Whiteside County, but other counties as well. We are fighting to re-gain our NO KILL STATUS! We adopt out animals as well as transfer animals to rescue facilities.

  • 4. Sign Adoption Contract
  • 5. Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

1st) Email animalcontrol@whitesidehealth org OR visit 1701 Industrial Park Rd Rock Falls, IL 61071 for an adoption application
2) Return a FULLY filled out application
3) Once approved our Adoption Officer will contact you to set up a meet and greet
4) Once you choose an animal, adoption paper work will be completed
5) Animal goes home with you!
