KitUmbra Rescue Cats is a registered 501(c)(3) (as DBA under Loving Light Holistic Wellness) nonprofit cat rescue working to minimize community cat suffering in York County, PA and surrounding areas through rehabilitation, fostering, socialization, and adoption of injured or abandoned felines; neuter/spay, vaccination, and microchipping of every feline in our care; organization, supervision, and fundraising of community TNR efforts; provision of low cost cat vaccines, microchips, and dewormers for community members in need; and public education on responsible and humane cat ownership, holistic behavior training, and community TNR. We are a disabled and family owned business started by a hopeless creative & compassionate soul who accidentally fell into cat rescue and decided to stay here. It's what happens when the neighborhood labels you "cat lady" and you answer the call😂. We hope to continue expanding our operations from year to year. We are passionate about serving our community, both the felines and the humans, and we will always do whatever we can to help!
