We're Hawk Creek Animal Shelter and the Humane Society of Kandiyohi and Meeker Counties/ The Humane Society of Meeker & Kandiyohi Counties (HSKMC) is a 501c3 non-profit organization whose purpose is to help abused, neglected, abandoned and stray animals as well as to educate the public on the proper care of animals and to promote the spaying and neutering of companion animals. Surrenders need to have an appointment, calling to be placed on our surrender list is the first step.

Visit our Hawk Creek Animal Shelter to adopt a pet.
Tuesday - Friday: Noon - 6pm (adoptions until 5:30pm)
Sat & Sun: Noon - 4pm (adoptions until 3:30pm)
Monday: Closed
Walk ins welcome! We do not have an online application, our adoptions are done through staff and adopter family interviews.
Dog to dog meet and greet appointments are appreciated to allow enough staff time.
