Toledo Animal Rescue

The Rescue operates with a small, but highly dedicated staff, plus a host of loyal volunteers who generously contribute their time, talents, and skills to the Rescue's operation. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and receive no local, state or federal funding. We are one of the most highly-recognized and well-respected animal adoption agencies that serve metropolitan Toledo and the surrounding region. The Toledo Animal Rescue, located on the south side of Toledo, is dedicated to the care and adoption of unwanted and homeless animals since our founding in 1927. There are no time limits for animals at our Rescue. Animals remain available for adoption as long as they remain physically and mentally healthy, and of sound temperament.
