Cat Depot - A Rescue, Adoption, Education and Resource Center's Adoption Process

1. Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

You may fill out our application ahead of time, but adoptions must take place in person at our Adoption Center.

2. Submit Application

Once you have chosen a cat, you will submit your application to an Adoption Counselor.

3. Approve Application

The Adoption Counselor will review your application to determine best fit, ensuring that cats and adopters find suitable matches.

4. Sign Adoption Contract

The Adoption Counselor will go over the cat's medical history, vaccination records, and microchip info with you.

5. Pay Fee

Cat Depot is a non-profit organization, and our adoption fees help to subsidize the medical care we provide to the cats.

6. Take the Pet Home

You will take your new kitty home that same day.

Adoptions take place in person on a first-come first-served basis. We can not "hold" cats for potential adopters.

Adoption fees: Adult cats: $75; Kittens $100. Fees for special breeds may differ.

All cats receive veterinary exam, tested for FIV/FeLV, fecal test, treated for fleas, parasites and ear mites, receive rabies and RVRCP vaccinations, are spayed or neutered, and microchipped.
