We are the only shelter on the Mendocino Coast. MCHS serves the coastline from Gualala to Westport.
We're here to help lost and found pets find their way home. And to find "Forever Homes" for the homeless pets on the coast.
MCHS has a Low Cost S/N Program. In the 2010 calendar year 1,025 animals were altered at our clinic.

Additional adoption info
There's an adoption application to be filled out and reviewed. After the review a contract is filled out and signed by the adopter. All adoption fees are $100.
