We are located in beautiful Eastern Oklahoma, near the Arkansas state line - central USA.
Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- If you are interested in adopting a pet the first step is the on on line adoption application at www.ahimsarescuefoundation.org
- Approve Application
- Once an adoption application is received the adoption committee reviews every application and contacts references.
- Home Check
- Once an adoption application is approved a home visit is next. After the home visit is completed the family is invited to meet and adopt.

If you are interested in adopting from Ahimsa Rescue, an on-line adoption form is required. Please complete an on line adoption application at: Ahimsa Rescue Foundation.
Once the references have been checked and an application is approved the applicant will be contacted via e-mail for a meeting with the dog.
Adoption fees generally vary from $75 to $150
