Rescue FAQs

Paws Animal Rescue, Inc. is an ALL VOLUNTEER Non Profit, 501-C-3 Organization that began in May 1999 in Alvin, Texas. All funds received (donations and adoption fees) are used directly to the benefit of the animals. There are NO paid employees at Paws Animal Rescue. Paws is a TARPA (Texas Acceptance and Release Program) Certified Organization. Please remember “UNTIL THERE ARE NONE, ADOPT ONE”. Paws saw the need to rescue adoptable cats and dogs at animal control facilities where the holding days can be as little as 3 to 5 days. Paws never adopts a pet until it has been completely vetted and most importantly spayed and neutered. We network with all shelters with lists of available cats and dogs. If we do not have what they are looking for we find someone who does.
We are FOSTER HOME based and can provide transport in most cases.

Additional adoption info

Adoption Fees start at $100.00 and depend on the pet. Some have had extensive surgeries and rehabilitation. We have an application/Contract process. We do an In Home visit, especially with hard to place pets. We will need a vet and 2 other references. We can arrange a private appointment with the foster if desired.
