New Hanover Humane Society is a non-profit shelter. We provide low cost spay/neuter, lost and found, and adoptions. Investigate cruelty complaints while working closely with Animal Control. Also help with wildlife relocation and rehab.

Our adoption fee is $60.00. That includes shots and worming up to date, spay/neuter, collar and leash for a dog and a collar and carrier for a cat. An adoption application is required for all animals and we check all premises before the adoption is complete.
