Rescue FAQs

Our mission is to provide funds for the emergency treatment of injured or sick animals that are stray, abandoned, or of unknown owner. We are a strictly no-kill organization, dedicated to the welfare of all animals in need. The Animal Rescue Fund adheres to and supports spay/neuter programs. We also support local, state, and national animal protection laws.
We serve Southeastern Connecticut.

Additional adoption info

The fee for adopting is $75.00 per animal, which includes all shots, spay/neuter if of age, a thorough health examination, and testing for feline leukemia virus (FeLV) and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV).
If an animal is not of age for spay/neuter, we give adopter a spay/neuter certificate. We require a $20.00 refundable deposit on all animals not of age to spay/neuter. Our adoption process includes, an adoption application, a home visit, and refrence check.
