Rescue FAQs

We are a nonprofit 501c3 rescue located in New Carlisle, IN. We rescue dogs from shelters only, state-wide in IN. We do all of our own fostering to get to know the animals good and bad points:) prior to adoption. We do vet checks for prospective adopters as well as reference checks to insure that our dogs get placed with the right family. There are 2 of us that run our organization and provide 24 hour care for our dogs. We do rescue to help as many homeless animals as we possibly can in the course of a year. We fund our organization from adoptions, donations, fund raisers and our own pockets. It is strictly a love for animals that keeps us going as well as a desire to lower the euthanasia rate of homeless dogs.
We adopt out all over the USA with the rule that the adopters come to our facility to meet the canines and then if it's a match they can adopt same day if they so choose. We ask that if you do not have a vet please list one on the application that you will use upon adoption.

Additional adoption info

Fees vary depending on veterinary care for the animal as well as age of pet.
We have an application that gets filled out, followed by vet checks and reference checks. Then an appointment is set up for the person(s) to meet the animal. If they decide to adopt, a contract is filled out by the adopter and they are able to take the pet home that day. We are a cash only facility as well.
